About Amanda

I was born and educated in the UK until moving to the US in 1996. As the eldest of four children, my story has always been one of caring about others.

My passion is people. I love to encourage people in finding the positive and potential in themselves. I believe that there is no pain without purpose, and my own experience has shown me that we grow the most during times of struggle – as long as we are prepared to be honest with ourselves and embrace the journey. My spirituality is important to me, but I do not seek to impose it on others – only to encourage people to ask important questions and seek answers for themselves.

I have three children by my first marriage. They are busy making lemonade out of the lemons life deals us too. My sons are both in college and my daughter is a high schooler. I married Pat in 2012. I am convinced that Pat’s life struggles, my own, and the things we have learned as individuals and collectively, combine perfectly to bring us to where we are today. The work that we need to do on ourselves never ends, but I want to share the learnings of yesterday and the joys of today with you as you investigate and walk your own path through life.

About Pat

I was born and raised in the Chicago IL, near west suburbs.  I am the middle child of 5 kids. I have always been the one to make sure others are happy and cared for.  This of course has been my blessing and my curse.

I am passionate about helping other people grow and become who God made them to be.  My spirituality is important to me. I am a person who likes to go deep into my faith and ask why.  I am also curious to learn spirituality across the spectrum of faiths so I would never impose my belief on others. My desire is to help people see a clearer picture of who they are and where they want to go.

The biggest struggle in my life has been dealing, and coming to terms with food addiction.  Through this struggle I have been able to understand my codependency issues that began in childhood.  I have been able walk through the brambles of life to a new path which is quite different than the one I was on. My desire is to help others find the framework to do the same for themselves.
